Registration is open for the spring season for all of our Salvo Community locations. We are excited to get our Community program started the week of May 4, 2020.
Salvo Soccer Club utilizes the US Soccer best practices by modeling the Play-Practice-Play (PPP) method for our Community players. We use PPP as a player centered approach to guide your child‘s development through the game of soccer.
Our Community program focuses on developmentally appropriate activities during the practice phase of our training session. Each activity offers our players a chance to grow using a holistic approach focusing on the development as a combination of cognitive, psychosocial and motor development.
- Cognitive development is the development of intelligence, conscious thought, and problem-solving ability.
- Motor development refers to the development of a child's bones, muscles and ability to move around and manipulate his or her environment.
- Psychosocial development is the development of the personality, including the acquisition of social attitudes and skills.
You can learn more about the Play-Practice-Play model, why we use the Play-Practice-Play model and why we use activities vs. drills on our Salvo Community page.
We look forward to working with our players, parents, coaches, referees and staff as a part of Salvo Soccer Club.
