The Salvo SC Boys College Advisory Program is designed to help Salvo SC athletes in their journey toward attending and playing soccer in college. The program will consist of varying experiences. In the fall, athletes will have the opportunity to experience local college soccer games with Salvo coaches. The winter and spring will consist of seminars designed to aid athletes in navigating the college recruitment process and opportunities to bring college coaches into contact with our players via ID clinics and camps.
Skylar Shulz, Boys CAP Coordinator, on his vision for this program:
Finding a great fit means orienting our players and families toward looking at things holistically. For most players, finding the right kinds of schools is the most important aspect and soccer comes second. We believe that our players will be most successful in college if they can find a school that fits them and offers them the opportunity to be successful in participating in that school's soccer program.
