Girls Recreational Soccer in Woodbury

Salvo Soccer Club is excited to partner with the Woodbury Athletic Association (WAA) for high-caliber and fun soccer experiences designed for ages 5-15! With our player-focused training and fun, competitive atmosphere, our girls' youth recreational soccer program helps develop players' love of the game and build character. Woodbury Seasonal Overview

Seasonal Information

We offer one fall, spring, and summer session for all age groups. These sessions meet twice per week for about one hour with their team and parent coach. At the 5U and 6U levels, the players do 30 minutes of training and 30 minutes of scrimmage play at each session. For all other age groups, one session per week is for training, and the other is a game.

In the winter, we offer three 6-week sessions meeting once per week with engaging training and opportunities to practice with a greater variety of players at different skill levels. Players can sign up for one, two, or all three of the winter sessions!

Depending on the season and program, our parent coaches and Salvo staff will help soccer players develop their dribbling, passing and receiving skills, stops and starts, turns, 1v1 methods, and other soccer-related techniques.

Girls Community+ Soccer Program

Is your soccer player looking to join one of our performance soccer teams, like our travel or select teams? Our spring and fall Community+ sessions provide more rigorous training for those interested in pushing their soccer skills to the next level while still playing in a fun atmosphere.

Get additional practice and specialized training with a Salvo SC staff coach. Players in this program train one extra night each week and play with other clubs in the surrounding communities for added playing development.

Remember to attend our Community Jamboree! The Jamboree is a day during the fall and spring seasons when all of our recreational programs come together for fun and competition. Challenge yourself to friendly competition and show off your skills against rec teams from around the Woodbury, Rosemount, Farmington, and Mendota Heights areas!
